*I scored a great deal on the ground beef. The 73% lean is on sale this week for $1.88 lb, and since I went shopping pretty late in the evening, they were sold out. I kindly asked at the meat counter, and he apologized, and said he would give me the 85% lean for the same price! SO-I got $2.99/lb, for only $1.88/lb.
It never hurts to ask when you don't see an advertised deal!
